Common questions
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings, tap your email, then Delete account. Without the app, see Delete your account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your store first.
How do I cancel my plan?
Plans are billed by Apple or Google, so they are cancelled there. The steps for iPhone and Android are on Subscriptions.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds go through Apple or Google, under their rules. In the EU and the UK you also have a 14-day right to withdraw. How both work: Refunds and the right to withdraw.
I bought something and it is not there.
Write to us from the address you sign in with, and include the order number from your Apple or Google receipt.
How do I report a page, a picture or a person?
In the app, use the flag, or hold the page, picture or message and choose Report. For a page of a written adventure, or if you do not have the app, email us. A person reviews every report within 24 hours. What is and is not allowed: Community Guidelines.
How do I appeal a decision about my account?
Email us within 6 months with "Appeal" in the subject. A person looks at it again (what happens if you break the rules).
What happens to what I write?
To write your story, what you type and the story so far go to our AI provider, DeepInfra, which does not keep it or train AI on it, and we do not use your stories to train AI either. To access, correct, move or delete your data, write to us. Everything is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I join a friend's story?
Open the link they sent you, or in the app tap Join a story and type their six-letter code.
Who can play?
Choicewright is for people aged 18 or over. We close any account we learn belongs to somebody younger.
